Bay Ridge – You can enjoy music under the stars this summer, thanks to a concert series sponsored by state Sen. Marty Golden and the Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force.
Golden’s summer concert series is being presented in local parks. And it’s free!
The concerts begin on Tuesday, July 10, at 7 p.m., as Bay Ridge’s party band, Head Over Heels, plays 79th Street and Shore Road.
The next night, Wednesday, July 11, Brooklyn Keys will entertain the crowd in Marine Park with the greatest oldies hits.
“It’s time to grab a beach chair, or a blanket, and head to our local parks on most Tuesday and Wednesday evenings,” Golden said. “The music of the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, dance, classic rock and more will be sure to get you dancing under the stars.”
